Returning for Cambodia’s Development – Vo Nimet

My Australia Awards Scholarship has significantly enhanced my knowledge in food sciences, enabling me to balance business and consumer needs with environmental sustainability.

 

During my time in Australia, I experienced emotions like happiness, homesickness, and personal growth. I gained valuable skills and insights, which will benefit my future career.

I had the chance to participate in industrial field trips, conduct a research project, and attend food science-related events. One memorable event was “Down to Earth by evokeAG,” where stakeholders discussed global issues like agri-food sustainability and climate change. Attending this event provided valuable insights and practical solutions from emerging technology, inspiring me to attend similar events in the future.

 

I’ll miss the multicultural atmosphere, high-quality education, and practical skills gained from my international experience. I’ll particularly miss the four distinct seasons in Australia, which offer unique vibes and natural beauty. I’ll also miss connections made with diverse people, which improved my communication and interpersonal skills and activities and difficult times we overcame together.
