Returning for Cambodia’s Development – Chhaeum Socheath

I’m deeply grateful to the Australia Awards Scholarships for the transformative opportunity it has provided. Over the past two years, I’ve experienced significant academic and personal growth. I’ve made unforgettable memories, met extraordinary individuals, and developed lifelong friendships I’ll forever hold dear.

The highlight of my experience living in Australia is going on long road trips. This country is so large and beautiful; the vast distances between places allow you to witness the changing landscapes.

I’ll miss the winter weather and the beauty of various parts of Australia. The cities and states have such contrasting scenery; there is so much to explore.

I’m very excited to go back home and spend quality time with my family and friends. There’s so much to look forward to, and I can’t wait to eat our amazing traditional food. Furthermore, I’m both anxious and excited about my future career path.
