Meet Chenda Net, a proud Australia Awards alumna with a master’s degree in health and international development, as she shares her journey and passion for accelerating sustainable development in Cambodia.

“Today I lead OiC Cambodia, an organisation with a mission to improve communication and swallowing therapy services in my homeland.

What truly drives me is bridging the service gaps, and witnessing the tremendous support from the hospital director and technical team has been an incredibly exciting moment for me.

Meeting individuals facing challenges in understanding their own needs has been eye-opening and inspiring. It’s these personal connections that me to make a difference in their lives, right at home.

Thanks to the Australia Awards, I’ve developed my confidence and skills to collaborate with governments not only in Cambodia but across borders, and studying in Australia was the perfect opportunity to expand my knowledge and combine it with my interests and work experience.”
